PRESENT:        Chairman Perry; Members, Mr. Mignogna, Mrs. Byrnes, Ms. Pinckney, Mr. Carr and Ms. Greenwood

MURRAY – 6 GLENWOLDE PARK

The Board reviewed plans for installation of a fence.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Murray – 6 Glenwolde Park - I have reviewed this application for the installation of a fence and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the installation of a fence, not to exceed 6 feet in height, at 6 Glenwolde Park as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated April 17, 2014 and June 5, 2014.

BERTOLACCI – 115 MARYMOUNT AVENUE

HARVEST FIELD MARKET – 350 SOUTH BROADWAY

The Board reviewed plans for a new wall sign in the Broadway Sign District.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

Ms. Pinckney moved, seconded by Ms. Greenwood and unanimously carried to approve a new wall sign in the Broadway Sign District at 350 South Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated May 1, 2014.

D’ELIA – 8 FAIRVIEW AVENUE

The Board reviewed plans for the addition of outside stairs and entry way.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“D’Elia – 8 Fairview Avenue - I have reviewed this application for the addition of outside stairs and entryway and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Greenwood moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the addition of outside stairs and entry way at 8 Fairview Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated May 21, 2014.

MUINOS/PLUNKETT – 40 CASTLE HEIGHTS AVENUE

The Board Reviewed plans for the installation of an aluminum fence along front of backyard area.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Muinos/Plunkett – 40 Castle Heights Avenue - I have reviewed this application for the installation of an aluminum fence along the front of the backyard area and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Ms. Pinckney and unanimously carried to approve the installation of an aluminum fence along front of backyard area at 40 Castle Heights Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated May 27, 2014.

THE NEW NY BRIDGE COMMUNITY OUTREACH CENTER – 2 NORTH BROADWAY

The Board Reviewed plans for a new wall sign in the Broadway Sign District.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Ms. Pinckney and unanimously carried to approve a new wall sign at 2 North Broadway as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated May 30, 2014.

EF SCHOOLS, INC. – 100 MARYMOUNT AVENUE

Mr. Stephen Yarabek, landscape architect, reviewed with the Board plans of a new entry statement wall at the west side of Marymount Avenue.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“EF Schools Inc. – 100 Marymount Avenue - I have reviewed this application for an entry statement wall at the west side of Marymount Avenue and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Ms. Greenwood moved, seconded by Mr. Mignogna and unanimously carried to approve a new entry statement wall at the west side of Marymount Avenue at 100 Marymount Avenue as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated May 30, 2014.

SPLIT DEVELOPMENT CORP. – 56 GRACEMERE

The Board Reviewed plans for construction of a new single family residence.

Chairman Perry questioned whether anyone wished to address the Board on this matter.  
No one appeared.

“Split Development Corp. – 56 Gracemere - I have reviewed this application to construct a new single family residence and determined the proposal appears to pose no significant adverse environmental impact.”

Mr. Mignogna moved, seconded by Mr. Carr and unanimously carried to approve the construction of a new single family residence at 56 Gracemere as shown on the plans received by the Building Department dated June 2, 2014.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Carr moved, seconded by Mrs. Byrnes and unanimously carried that the minutes of the Architectural Review Board’s May 21, 2014 meeting be approved as submitted.  

MEETING ADJOURNED at 9:30 p.m.
